The Film Find

A little late (we promise we’ll be on time next week) but we’ve got a a great show for you this week.  This go around we talk about the new movie from Michael Bay, 13 Hours and follow that up with the movie that unseated Star Wars at the top of the box office-- Ride Along 2 with Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. We also talk Superstore, Carol and the new Suicide Squad trailer in What You’ve Been Watching.

This week we only have one full new release review but we don’t rest on that alone.  This week Matt and Adam talk about THE REVENANT as well as touch on the Point Break remake, Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead, The Forrest, Witching and Bitching and Cooties.  Plus we also do some Oscar talk about remember David Bowie.

Here it is as told to you on our very own podcast! This bonus episode comedian Johnny Millwater stopped by The Film Find Studio to talk with Adam life and movies- and how the two are so often intertwined.

We're back with our second new episode of the week.  This go around we look at the new movie from Adam McCay- The Big Short about the housing crisis- you know how Adam McCay is known for that kinda stuff, right? And we'll end up with Joy from director David O. Russel. In what you've been watching we talk the new Will Smith movie Concussion as well as Ash vs Evil Dead. We also talk about how Movie Pass should be giving us money.

The first new episode of 2016 is here and we’re wrapping up the movies of 2015.  On this first of two new review episodes this week Matt and Adam review The Hateful Eight, Daddy’s Home as well as talk about Scream Queens, the Point Break remake, Superstore and The Danish Girl.  All this AND we’ve got another full length episode coming tomorrow!

On this bonus episode we talk STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS and we roll FULL SPOILERS!  So fair warning.

This week Adam and Matt are back a little late but we've got a huge show for ya. We follow up last week's new release from director Ron Howard- IN THE HEART OF THE SEA.  We follow it up with the other NOT Star Wars Movie- SISTERS staring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.  And then we get to what everyone was waiting for- STAR WARS FORCE AWAKENS- and this review- SPOILER FREE.  That's right- we don't spoil this bad boy- we'll do a spoiler episode in the feed just after this episode drops.

In this special edition of The Film Find sits down with local Charlotte comedian Chesney Goodson.  We talk about movies and how they infuse you make you who you are.

Back for the second episode in as many days- This go around we talk about a few films released this week- In the What You've Been Watching segment Matt talks about Chi-Raq while Adam talks about The X-Files on blu-ray.  Then we get into Krampas- the holiday horror movie about the guy who does the dirty work Santa is too scared to do (at least that's what I've always thought about the Krampas story).  Then we wrap the show up with our review of Room.

While we're a week late we have a boatload of films from last week and we'll have another episode (which will have THIS week's movie reviews) tomorrow and then a BONUS episode the day after.  This week we look at Creed, The Good Dinosaur, Brooklyn and Victor Frankenstein.
