A bit late but we have a show for you this week- holiday or not!  This week we cover the last film in the Hunger Games Series- Mockingjay Part 2, Spotlight and Secret In Their Eyes as well as our usual “What you’ve been watching” segment.

This week is a bit light but we’re back with a review of THE 33 about the thirty-three Chilean minors trapped for 69 days in 2010.  We also talk about Love, The Coopers, Master of None, Moonrise Kingdom and touch a bit on Spotlight, which we’ll review in full next week.

This week we’ve got the two films that were the top of the box office last week- the first time in some time that two NEW movies top the charts. First up we’ll look at the family friendly THE PEANUTS movie and then we look to the possible Bond outing for Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig- SPECTRE.

Then we jump in to some October horror action- first up is the kids friendly GOOSEBUMPS based on the books by R.L. Stine then we get into the more adult fare of CRIMSON PEAK from director Guillermo del Toro.  We also talk South Park, Scream Queens, American Werewolf in London and much more.

Ermahgerddon: The Untold Story of the Ermahgerd Girl

This week is the calm before the storm but never the less we trudge though this week with only one joint major review- the box office disaster that is PAN, directed by Joe Wright. We talk about where this movie went wrong, the odd choices they make and why it probably should have never been made in the first place.  We also talk about PAWN SACRIFICE, THE KEEPING ROOM and we hint at future reviews (when we’ve both seen the films) of GOODNIGHT MOMMY and KNOCK, KNOCK.

This week we look at three big new releases- First up is the new film from director Robert Zemeckis- The Walk followed by Sicario from Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, The Double).  And finally we talk about the new blockbuster from Ridley Scott- The Martian.
