Chris Bailey is a rising star in Track & Field, and in the span of just a single year, he went from unsponsored and relatively overlooked, to becoming one of the top 400m sprinters in the world.
At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Chris Bailey not only finished 6th place in the men’s 400m final and later ran leadoff leg for Team USA’s 4x400 that won the Gold medal and Broke the Olympic record in the event.
At the top of 2025, Chris has already become the World Indoor Champion in both the 400 and 4x400m, as well as secured a deal to now represent Nike.
In our conversation, Chris dives into his background of getting into Track instead of going into the military, running both cross country and the 400m in the NCAA, as well as almost quitting the sport after his time at the University of Arkansas was done.
We also dive into the toughest moments Chris has faced in his career, his experience competing at the Olympics, and his unique style of running the 400m.
