This episode of The Five Count was for the children. During the show we played our favorite children songs, discussed who would be on our Mt. Rushmore of cartoon characters, explained how not to be offensive when ordering food at Mexican restaurants, and Ton told the story of how he almost played Joey Lawrence's role on the TV show Blossom. We also spent 20 minutes reminiscing about fruit pies!

This installment of The Five Count featured not one, but two exclusive interviews! First we were joined by guitarist Mark Kendall. Mark is best known as the founder of the band Great White. Known for hits like Rock Me, Save Your Love, and Once Bitten, Twice Shy, Great White has sold more than eight million albums dating back to the early ‘80s. During the show he discussed the early days with Great White, his relationship with former Great White singer Jack Russell, and Great White’s new album Full Circle. Next we were joined by actress Joyce Bulifant. Joyce is best known for her role as “Marie Slaughter” on the TV show The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She’s also appeared on TV shows like Weird Science, The Bill Cosby Show, Match Game, and Big John, Little John. During the show she discussed working with her son on Weird Science, how the role of “Carol Brady” on The Brady Bunch was originally written for her, and her new book “My Four Hollywood Husbands.” Buy your copy today!

During the rest of the show we decided which pro wrestlers we would cast in a new Avengers-style movie, marveled at that contents of the new $1,000 Guns N’ Roses box set, Ton threw shade at a local weatherman, and we paid tribute to the great John “Jabo” Starks. He was super bad!

This episode of The Five Count featured exclusive interview with two legendary Canadian TV producers. First we were joined by Marty Krofft. Marty is best known as one-half of the television-producing duo Sid & Marty Krofft. Known for creating shows like H.R. Pufnstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and Land of the Lost, Sid and Marty Krofft have been producing children's television for nearly 50 years. They were recently awarded a "Lifetime Achievement Award" at the Daytime Emmy Awards!

Next, we were joined by television producer Stephen Stohn. Stephen is the executive producer of the teen drama series Degrassi, including The Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Degrassi: Next Class. He was also the executive producer of the telecast of Canada's music awards show, The Juno Awards. His new book "Whatever It Takes: Life Lessons from Degrassi and Elsewhere in the World of Music and Television" is available now!

The rest of the show featured a conversation with Predator about the dos and don'ts of attending prom, a conversation with Twitter Lori about the pros and cons of ceramic lobsters, and harassment by the proprietor of a Chinese restaurant and a woman who tattooed a Camaro on her butt. Ton skipped the show to go to a Bon Jovi concert!

During this episode of The Five Count we celebrated the 25-year anniversary of Aerosmith's Get a Grip album, defended Aerosmith's honor against numerous naysayer listeners, gave our thoughts on the recent concert involving real musicians backing a video of Prince, Ton regaled us with tales of his various great-radio groupie conquests, and we raked-in numerous donations to the KMSU Pledge Drive. Music was the weapon!

This installment of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with guitarist Ross “The Boss” Friedman. Ross is best known as a former member of Manowar and The Dictators. He’s also played with bands like Death Dealer, Manitoba’s Wild Kingdom, and Shakin’ Street. During the show he discussed how the band Manowar was formed, the future of The Dictators, and his new solo album By Blood Sworn. There was plenty of violence and bloodshed!

During the rest of the show we patted ourselves on the back for venturing out in a blizzard to make it to the show, discussed why no one appreciates Madonna anymore, decided which films would’ve benefited from having The Barbarian Brothers in them, and gave away tickets to see Paisley Park Presents Prince: Live on the Big Screen April 20 at Target Center in Minneapolis. This edition of The Five Count included two exclusive celebrity interviews. First we were joined by WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston. Kofi is a member of longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history, The New Day. He’s also a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE United States Champion, and WWE World Tag Team Champion. During the show he discussed dealing with injuries on the road, his upcoming appearance at WWE WrestleMania, and The New Day’s new book, “The Book of Booty: Shake It. Love It. Never Be It.” New Day Rocks!

Next we were joined by actor R. Keith Harris. Keith is best known for his role as “Dr. Harlan Carson” on the TV show The Walking Dead. He’s also appeared in TV shows like Under the Dome, One Tree Hill, Dawson’s Creek, and Beverly Hills, 90210. During the show he discussed his early days in the business, the popularity of The Walking Dead, and his new film Shifting Gears. It’s available now!

During the rest of the show we complained about the length of WrestleMania, discussed our recent interview with Eddie Money, received a call from a marijuana activist, and scheduled a Ric Flair chopping contest. Woooo!

It's been a while, so we've decided to head to The Five Count Vault for another Dead Horse Rewind! This show is from April 11, 2009 and was a special Easter edition of The Five Count. We played inspirational music and praised the name of Ton, who many people believe is the real son of God. The Arbitron spikes used to nail Ton to the cross were pulled out and used to make great radio. Ton-men!
