The Fletcher Files: A Murder, She Wrote Podcast

Only in Cabot Cove can a construction site turn into an excavation site and then a crime scene. There’s a skeleton in what should be the foundation of a new multimillion dollar hotel. Is this the 200 year old remains of town legend Joshua Peabody or the victim of a more recent homicide? Well Jessica will figure it out but first she must find the person who murdered the greedy hotel contractor and buried him in a grave he dug himself.

Who is murdering widows and stealing their jewelry on a beautiful Caribbean Island? Jessica Fletcher, I mean Marguerite Canfield will have to figure it out before she becomes the next victim of this greedy, heartless killer lurking on this island paradise.

Can you believe the season is over? Well let’s look back at the highs and lows, the laughs and side eyes from season one.

A family secret so dark that someone would kill to keep it quiet. Jessica must find out what that secret is to expose a murderer, but should she have left well enough alone?

A hidden camera that taped Johnny’s “insurance” from Mr. Valentine but it sealed his fate. Is the hired hit man the angry tennis pro, the son who cant please his father, the daughter with moxie, the ex-wife or the comic relief? Jessica will have to work with a big city cop in this small Arizona town to smoke out a hired killer.

“Of course it’s the right gun. Who ever heard of framing someone with the wrong gun?”

Jessica can’t catch a break, even while recuperating from a nasty fall. The head doctor at her medical facility has been murdered and Jessica has to chase down every lead, even while on crutches.

While stranded at a diner during a torrential rain storm, a passenger is murdered! Was it the retired mailman, the sea captain, the associate professor, the head librarian, the pregnant woman, the son of a thief, the diner owner or the bus driver who stranded them there? It’s up to Jessica, with the assistance of Sheriff Tupper, to find the real killer before they kill them one by one.

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

Hensley Post is dead

But the police don’t have a clue.

Jessica is just trying to attend an awards weekend when she ends up having to save her moody, drunk, forgetful poet friend Horace, from a murder charge.

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?!

Murder on the gridiron.

Thanks to Old Uncle Cyrus, Jessica is now part owner of a minor league football team. While trying to decide what to due with her shares, she’s pulled into another murder investigation. With a roster full of suspects she has to beat the clock and reveal the murderer before the big game.

McGraw and Fletcher: his knuckles and her brains! Our favorite PI Harry McGraw makes his first appearance. A memorable first impression to say the least. A murdered PI, a black mail attempt and a 25 year old scalpel murder round out another great episode.
