Ruth Toledo Altschuler is a flower essences practitioner of 30 years, beginning her career in this field shortly after the second wave of flower essences were established in the 70’s and 80’s. Originally from Brazil, Ruth became a founding elder of the practice there, where she helped develop the practice, the study and the implementation of flower essences throughout the country. 

Ruth now dedicates her time to mentoring others, educating and sharing her deep well of knowledge and especially her passion within the field.

I am BEYOND excited to share with you this weeks episode. We had our very first guest of 'season two' Samantha Boersma is a visionary, an intuitive and a creatress immersed in the world of flower essences and plant spirits, her body of work The Spiral Path has a foundation rooted in the Divine Feminine teachings and incorporates principles of Ayurveda, yoga and tantra. She acts as a bridge from spirit to the physical to remind you how connected, supported and nourished you are.

This conversation is a bit of a long one as we really geeked out on all things flowers, including realising that the flowers were gifting us a lot of the same messages, though we are half a world apart.

This week on the Podcast I had the pleasure of speaking with one of my dear clients.

Eva Cangarova is the owner of Zalah Wellness, a holistic wellness business. Eva guides her clients through the lens of crystal healing, EFT tapping, Ayurvedic elements, cyclical living and more. 

We have been working together for the past nine months in which Eva has shifted through some major life transformations. Using the support of the Flower Essences throughout this time, Eva is kindly sharing her journey and experience with this medicine.

In this conversation Eva shares how the essences allowed her to following her truth even in the most challenging times, The importance of having a clear vessel and releasing impurities to receive the full potency of this medicine and experiencing resistance throughout the flower essence journey.

She also spoke of reflecting on the masculine and feminine aspects of self, and how the remedies allow us to become more intimate with our own inner landscapes and show up for ourselves in the way we need to, the mysteries of life and how releasing control of the outcome allows for forward momentum, and the aspects of life that language and the mind cannot always articulate.

•Eva's impressions of how the Flower essences compared to her expectations of them.

•How the affirmations allowed her to deeply resonate and recognise her truth and follow the path towards it with deep integrity

• How important and beneficial it was to be able to be supported through the journey rather than using essences alone.

•Both our individual responses to taking the remedy, and the difference between being present and intentional while taking the remedy and not.

•Taking intentional action after receiving the cues to actually embody the lessons of the remedy. Bridging the spiritual and the material. 

•Holding universal trust and handing it over to the universe.

•Communicating and connecting with the flowers and plants and their archetypes and receiving messages from the flowers

•How using remedies consecutively allowed each to interconnect and flow to compliment the whole journey as one.

•Allowing the remedy to imbue a sense of hope in the bigger picture.

• The divine connection between flowers and our femininity and creation centre.

This week I have Dennae back on the podcast to explore our first Essence in Focus of the year. 

This is one that we both created ourselves from the beautiful and bold Poinciana growing nearby our homes. 

We both had a profound journey with this medicine and experienced its themes in similar but unique ways. So we thought we would share together for something a little interesting! 

It truly was a flower to humble us into confidence. 

We spoke about our first interactions with this flower and the messages it gifted us, our perceived authenticity vs what being authentic truly means. 

How the Poinciana reflects to us where our unconscious judgements and projections are limiting us, and the journey to releasing the core fears behind these insecurities.  

How the essences can work on the same themes but on completely different ends of the spectrum for each individual’s journey and surrendering to the unknown as we move through voids in healing.
