Sven has got to be one of the most stoked foilers in WA, he won't miss an opportunity to go out for a foil session and there is never a session where he is not smiling. He has always gone out of his way to find the right kit, pushing brands such as Axis to create products for the bigger riders. It was awesome to talk to Sven about everything that he has done foiling as well as discussing new equipment that he is using.
If YOU have any foiling stories that you would like to share on the podcast please email them to [email protected] or send a DM to The Foil Project instagram. We would love to hear a voice message or a video!

Hello Everyone! and Welcome back To The Foil Project.
Andrew Readhead, AKA Reeei-deee, works full-time as a critical care paramedic and is a loving father of two. But during every spare moment, he can squeeze into his busy life, he is either shaping foiling boards, wake-thieving boats from the Swan River, dropping cars for Downwind foil runs or out in the water carving some crazy lines. Reedy learnt to foil through downwind foiling, and if you know a bit about foiling, that’s a remarkable feat. Reedy, gives a whole heap of valuable insight into how you can also learn how to downwind foil during this episode.
Recently, Reedy completed a 105km solo downwind, won the Fenn Westcoast Downwind Foil race and built his newest crazy board, a 5’6” by 17 downwind machine. Super stoked to have this chat with Reedy, and thanks to @jamescasey7393 for joining the conversation and giving amazing insight as always.
We hope you enjoy the episode of The Foil Project, until next time... stay pumped!
