The boys go over the 2016 Game Awards and Playstation Experience. Things we liked, things that changed, thoughts on whether we're all really even doing this right, and hypeness for various newer announcements. Snacks is outed for never having played The Witcher 3 and Frog is outed for never having beated Shovel Knight. Both hosts are terrible gamers.

In the last episode of the SEGA Suite, the boys pick a few of their favorite SEGA titles and what made them so important. After they drop knowledge on some classics like House of the Dead and Super Monkey Ball, the future of SEGA is pondered. 

The boys pay homage to the ill-fated SEGA Dreamcast, whose life was tragically short, yet left an amazing legacy and reputation. A very quick history of how the console came to be and some of the innovative tech it boasted quickly turns into a love-in when the boys get into the third party support and some of the (to this day) amazing titles the Dreamcast held. 

The boys get deep into everyone's favorite blue hedgehog in this week's episode. The boys go over the rough transitions in the game's timeline between generations, go over some of the highs and lows of the series and talk about the future. Some deep cuts get mentioned, as well as the miracle that there were so many bad Sonic racing games

The boys kick off SEGA November with a discussion on how surprisingly influential Sega was in the early 90's in the formation of how the video game industry operates today. Responsible for things like the ESRB, stated release dates, and E3, Sega started from the bottom to match Nintendo in market share only to fall magnificently as quickly as they rose. 

The boys lose their minds poring over the details of the Nintendo Switch reveal. The possibilities are literally endless, assuming they follow the "Five Steps to Success" as outlined by Frog. Snacks waxes poetic about how this is truly the Nintendo system that may bridge the social gaps that are still prolific in our society, and Frog is just happy that Ninty finally released the essential gamer survival pack. The boys talk about the zero-effort/high-profile announcement of the Red Dead Redemption sequel and how Rockstar occupies a very specific place in general nerd culture. Notoriety of developers and individuals in the gaming sphere and how they can use this notoriety in advertising their games is discussed, as well as the ability of bigger developers to pursue a method of "trickle down marketing". The guys also talk about how Comiccon has changed and what it means for nerd culture in general. Snacks talks about his favorite video game commercial, and Frog sweeps Snacks away with a nostalgia tsunami.

Frog and Snacks talk about their attendance of the ESL Brooklyn Beatdown event, and how stacked it was with Street Fighter legends. The guys talk about how different the cult of the personality is in video games as opposed to everything else, and then showcase a beautiful, majestic creature who brought a rare instrument of battle into the event. 

The boys are joined again by friend of the show Uncle Pause to talk about Forza Horizon 3, and its unique place straddling the racing sim/arcade racing genres. The gang laments the loss of the sci-fi racer while pointing out what has made the high simulation titles like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport so popular, and does the same for the sports world. Some theories get thrown around about how the sports and racing genres can bridge the gap and create games that satisfy fun for fans on all points of the spectrum. A rare trip down nostalgia lane gets taken, surprising game stats, and Jet Moto 2, because Jet Moto 2 was a great game. 

Snacks introduces his ideas on why proper progression systems can be one of the more difficult things to nail in game design, so much that even otherwise very good games can do it poorly. Frog then goes off to make the comparison between the indie revolution in games to the golden age of television and how the two will likely be in direct competition in the near future as the premier destination for entertainment. Snacks shits on the Warcraft movie, and gives a hot take on cartoons.
