After 8 and a half years, the great Luke Ski has finally released another album, the aptly titled "Needlessly Meta." On it, he continues his series of "Dumb Parody Ideas" interstitial tracks from his previous album, abbreviated as D.P.I., presenting us with seven new additions. This track is the final one on the album, #13. The premise is simple: How come nobody has gotten around to doing a parody of the popular sea shanty "The Wellerman" by Nathan Evans about David Letterman? Luke Ski fills that egregious void by singing about the glorious eleven year history of the bizarre talk show juggernaut that was "Late Night with David Letterman" for 88 seconds. You're welcome. As a delivery person, I listen to the radio in my car A LOT. And one song I hear over and over is Unholy by Sam Smith and Kim Petras. You've probably heard it yourself (or at least heard all the hubbub about it from the Grammy's recently).

Also as a delivery person, I notice that many folks' eating habits are TERRIBLE. So, I decided to combine these into one song, and I got dirty pop songstress Twill Distilled to join me.

Finally there will be a parody of this song on TikTok that isn't a blatant Christian flip on the phrase holy.

I was asked to write a song for the recent Found Footage film, "The Outwaters," prior to release. I liked this challenge, as for the first time, I had to write a song with no spoilers, as they were dropping the video the day after the film hit theaters! So for this song, and the music video, I did the whole thing like a trailer. I decided to use the Doobie Brothers song "Black Water," and 2Sleeps came up with an awesome music track and mix! They were a two-piece bluegrass band made up of Ron DeLacy and Dave Cavanagh that did some very funny stuff.
