Obadiah 1:1-15: Obadiah is a short book from the Old Testament, one of the prophets, which packs the entire truth of the scriptures: That God has many who opposed to him and some of thoes find friendship with God. Are you a friend of God or are you his enemy, opopsed to his purposed, will, direction, holiness, and plans for your life? Are you confident in yourself and what the earth has for you or do you desperately need God?

Mark 16:1-8; our final part in a series from the Gospel of Mark. Last week we saw the death of Christ - that "should" have been the end. But for Jesus his story is anything but tragic. And in his resurrection, we discover that our story is anything but tragic - Jesus is alive and has conquered death and sin. So what do we do? We go into the world and preach this Gospel to every nation, race and people group - we live our lives demonstrating the reality that Jesus is risen from the dead and it's all about Him!

Mark 12:28-34; As Jesus life is nearing an end, he sums up the law: Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. When we hear this, we should not think this so easy; on the contrary, this should make us shudder. How does the work of Jesus not only enable Christians to live out the Great Commandment but also fulfils it on our behalf?

Mark 9:42-50; This teaching addresses temptation - what's leading you to sin? Cut it off? Do you realize the impact of sin?

Mark 9:2-13; Jesus leads the disciples up the mountain and gives them a glimpse into who he is in all of his splendor. But Jesus didn't desire to keep his disciples on the mountain. This teaching dives into te question of "why Jesus takes up the mountain" and "why we can't stay there."

Mark 8:31-38; God's concerns are higher than ours. Peter didn't understand this when Jesus said he will suffer, die, and rise again. God's calls us to trust him as our call is to deny ouselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus - not only to death, but through death to resurrection.

Mark 7:1-23: This teaching focuses in on Jesus' teachngs about where sin comes from and the difference between the authority of the scriptures and the traditions of men. Fake Authority leads to Fake Worship which results in Fake Transformation. Jesus alone brings Real Transformation.
