WWE finally allowed the female wrestlers to close-out a pay-per-view in the Women's Championship Match. Charlotte and Sasha Banks made history by being the first two women to compete inside Hell in a Cell, The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) defended the Raw Tag Team Championship against Cesaro and Sheamus, T.J. Perkins defended the Cruiser-weight Championship against Brian Kendrick, and the Reigns-Rusev match was a solid opener.
