It may have been the most important oral-argument hearing at the U.S. Supreme Court in our lifetime, as SCOTUS took up the Mississippi case today. Will babies be murdered for the next fifty years in this country? This was the best shot for those who wanted to salvage a nation. We take a blow-by-blow analysis on this historic hearing. Will the Supremes reverse Roe v. Wade? Amy Coney Barrett is the swing vote this time, but nobody's interested in providing the unborn child a right to life by the 14th Amendment. And what in the world does the 14th Amendment say about the "right to kill a baby?" You might get a new line drawn, limiting abortion from the 24-week mark back to 15 weeks, but that won't put a dent in the 14 million abortions occurring every year in this country (via the IUD, surgicals, and chemicals).

Much

of the problems with our governments today tie in to a wrong

view of economics. Why are our leaders so bent on destroying our

economy and civilizations? Here, Calvin Beisner gets down into the

foundational principles of economics, and explains the difference

between a secular view and a biblical view.

Without exaggeration, we are looking at the greatest heist of all time. How did the most socialist governments in U.S. history succeed in redistributing the wealth into the pockets of the top 1% of the population? All animals are equal, but somehow, it always turns out that some are more equal than others. But what about cryptocurrency? Will this be a turn back towards honest money, or is this the worst investment in all of economic history? Is cryptocurrency a one last-gasp possibility for decentralized control and liberty? Liberty is only possible by self-government, and the nation has yet to return to a state of self-government, strong families, and civil virtue. Ain’t happening now.

As the Christian West collapses and the Christian salt loses its savor, the remnant is at a loss for the agenda. We have reached crisis point. Where do we go from here? Does Marvin Olasky have a point, calling us to the role of peacemaker with the transgender agenda, etc.? Is the Christian role at this point to avert civil war, or to join one side or the other? The entire framework is changing. Here we realize that we are shifting from an ideological head-on war to more of a guerrilla war of ideas. The world is on fire. This isn’t the 1980s anymore. This is not the time for compromise on basic ethics. This is not the time for synthesis. But, does this mean that the Christian agenda is to re-elect Donald Trump? Is it time to join Q-Anon and the local patriot groups? Above all, this is the time for wisdom, and we attempt to share a little here on this edition of the program.

When Christian conservatives and Republican Congressmen join the chorus of those casting gigantic curses at the president of the United States, what must we say? Are we cheering a race car driver, mocking an NBC interviewer, or cursing the president? The question deserves an answer, with this “Let’s go Brandon” chant. We are finding a rhetorical anarchy and an unravelling of common decency at the highest levels and the lowest levels of society—and among Christian conservatives. Are we discerning the times well, folks?

On this Thanksgiving Day 2021, we review God's amazing blessings on entire economies. How did we come to receive a median family income 30-times that which people were recipients of over 5,800 years of world history? The blessings came by Christ. . . far as the curse is found!

The vaccine mandates are not dead yet, and neither are masks. However, the good news is that the dust is clearing a bit, such that real data is surfacing finally. We take a moment to review the objective data available for the denominators on the death rate, making comparisons with more severe flu seasons. How does it measure up? We also touch on what churches should do that are facing national and denominational pressure to shut down in-person meetings.

Dumbledore and the rest. How quickly the worldling faded with all his

boasted pomp and show! Even JK Rowling takes her place. . . under the

bus, on the twentieth anniversary of the franchise. We spend a little

time talking through the “Eternals” Worldview, and then outline

the general contours of the decline of a culture. The world passes

away with its lusts, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

Sadly,

for most Americans, Thanksgiving is nothing more than food, family,

and football. But Christians know better. Rediscover our precious

Christian heritage for which we should be profoundly grateful. Psalm

9:1 says, “I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I

will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.”

about the plot by renegade Catholics, led by Guy Fawkes, to blow up

the British Parliament and King James on November 5, 1605, with 1,800

When

the plot was uncovered and the men were tried and executed, King

James, the head of the Church of England, persecuted religious

non-conformists including the Catholics, the Puritans, and the

Separatists. Eventually, one separatist group, the Pilgrims, in their

quest for religious liberty, first went to Holland, and then to

America. You’ll hear about the Pilgrims’ 50-year treaty with the

Indians, and the Mayflower Compact, which laid the foundation for the

Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
