The Gerry Anderson Podcast

There are so many strings to Nigel Plaskitt's bow that it's difficult to know where to start! Puppeteer, producer, actor and voice actor, he's brought so many wonderful creations to the world, from Unstoffe in Doctor Who, The Ribos Operation to Pipkins' Hartley Hare and PG Tips' Monkey to several of the muppets! He's best known in the Anderverse for voicing Captain Black in the 2005 CGI remake of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons - New Captain Scarlet!

This month, Nigel shares the many highlights of his illustrious career, from Muffin the Mule to reuniting with his Scarlet costars to record a very special audio adventure for the new BluRay... And even the Randomiser gets in on the game!

Vix from Fuzzbox may be intimately connected with Thunderbirds via the band's 1980s hit, International Rescue, but how will she fare with the Randomiser's choice of Fireball XL5?

XL5 To H2O is a fishy tale of an aquaphibian on the loose with only the crew of Fireball XL5 to save us! Vix has thoughts on the creature's walk, Professor Matic's eyebrows and how Robert the Robot seems to have a plastic cup for a head!

Vicki Perks, AKA Vix from We've Got A Fuzzbox And we're Gonna Use It, joins us as our very special guest, to talk all about her Anderson inspirations and Fuzzbox memories. The band's smash hit International Rescue was directly inspired by one of the Andersons' most enduring series and created a cultural moment all its own.

But just what does Vix score on the Andermeter, what does the Randmiser choose for her to watch next time, and just how did she get into that Barbarella dress?

Our special guest, actress Rosalyn Landor, is back to enjoy an episode of Space 1999, as chosen by the Randomiser!

With an appearance in Star Trek under her belt, travel in outer space should come naturally to her, but what will she make of the Alphans' struggle to survive - particularly when a mind-bending space cloud comes their way??

This month, we're joined by prolific actress Rosalyn Landor. From appearances aboard the Starship Enterprise and Hammer House of Horror via Sherlock Holmes and over 500 audiobooks, Rosalyn has spent a lifetime working with our greatest actors - some of whom have an Anderson connection, too!

But does that mean - along with a love of UFO and Thunderbirds - that she's guaranteed a high score on the Andermeter? And just what will the Randomiser choose for her to watch with us next time?

Meanwhile, Jamie's always around when there's presents to unwrap, so he joins Richard and Chris for a special Voice Of The Podsterons - with gifts!
