I used to obsess over whether my husband wore his wedding ring. To me, it symbolized respect, commitment, and whether he valued our marriage. When he’d forget it, I’d spiral—convinced it meant something about me, about us.
Here’s the twist: I barely wear mine anymore.
Not because I gave up. Not because the marriage failed. But because that desperate need for him to comply with my vision of what marriage should look like… it dissipated. And in its place? Conversion.
In this Season 3 premiere, I’m pulling back the curtain on the ebb and flow of my marriage—the stonewalling, the unspoken anger, the moments I couldn’t articulate what I actually needed. This is about the hard truth no one prepares you for: marriage doesn’t ask your partner to change. It asks YOU to convert into someone who can hold complexity, release control, and recognize love even when it doesn’t look like your blueprint.
If you’re frustrated with a partner who won’t “get it,” if you’re exhausted from explaining what you need, or if you’re wondering whether to do the work or walk away—this one’s for you.
Season 3 is all about marriage, partnership, and the conversion it demands. Let’s dive in.
The last year in my 30s.
I'm reflecting on my entire 30s- what I expected, what actually happened, and how grateful I am for all of it. The things I accomplished and the things I didn't. The plans that worked out and the ones the fell apart. Every single piece of it aligned me for something greater.
My 30s didn't go according to plan. But they gave me clarity, wisdom, and purpose. I see it all so clearly now- how everything, even the hard parts, was preparing me for what's next.
This is a decade of gratitude. And as I step into my 40s, I'm ready.
Thank you for being part of this season. See you in Season 3.
My son was trying to tie his show. It was taking too long. I snapped. And then I realized; this isn't about the shoe. This is about me- my need for control, my anxiety, the urgency I leaned as a kid that I'm now passing to him. In this episode, I talk about the healing I wish I'd done before becoming a mom, and the healing I'm doing now while raising my kids. The triggers we don't know we have until parenthood activates them. The patterns we swore we'd never repeat but catch ourselves doing anyway. The cycle-breaking work that's hard, messy, and so necessary. If you're not a parent yet, do the inner work now. If you already have kids, it's not too late- awareness and accountability can change everything. Let's break the cycles together.
Your Intuition is a superpower- especially when it comes to reading people. In this episode, I talk about navigating neighbor relationships, trusting your gut when someone's energy feels off and why we need to stop guilting ourselves into friendliness we don't feel. I share how I'm teaching my daughter to read the room, recognize red flags and know that being polite doesn't mean being available. From boundary-pushing neighbors to that unexplainable "something's not right" feeling- this is about honoring your instincts and protecting your peace. Being gangsta mean no without explanation. Being gutsy means trusting yourself even when others don't see what you see.
I used to think knowledge was pure power. Then I got rear-ended, and suddenly I knew too much- about how fragile we are, how fast things can go wrong, how little control we actually have. Now that knowledge is both a gift and a curse. It makes me prepared, but it also keeps me up at night. This is the double-edged sword of being informed: you're empowered by what you know, but you're also crippled by the fear that comes with it. In this episode, I'm talking about finding grit in the anxiety, being gutsy enough to stay informed, and being gangsta enough to not let fear win. You can be aware and still be at peace- I'm just figuring out how.
Woman. Mother. Partner. Me. Each one has needs- and we're terrible at honoring them all the time. In this episode, I talk about the needs we ignore, the grace we rarely give ourselves, and what it looks like when someone actually sees what you need and steps in. From needing sleep to needing support to needing a damn minute- your needs aren't negotiable. Being gutsy means asking for what you need. Being gangsta means unapologetically receiving it.
I'm guilty of it. You're probably guilty of it too. We listen with our triggers- our past hurt, our insecurities, our defense mechanisms- and then we wonder why no one understands us. This 10-minute episode is me getting real about how our wounds shape what we hear, why communication breaks down, and what happens when we start recognizing the filter. Quick, honest, and necessary.
Motherhood is supposed to be beautiful, but no one warned me about the black hole. In this episode, I get real about my experience with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety- the darkness, the isolation, and how quickly you can lose yourself without even realizing it's happening.
But here's the thing: I made it out. I share the tangible steps that helped me survive, the mindset shifts that saved me, and the tools you can use if you're in it right now. You're not alone, and there is a way through. This is Girl Pursuit at its realest- grit, grace, and getting back to yourself.

The pursuit of being GIRL. How my first collision is not going to break me, but I did need to pause and reflect.
This episode was terrifying to record, but it's too important not to ignore it. With preteen suicide rates rising 8% annually and Florida seeing 8 youth suicides per year in my region alone, I'm diving into what every parent needs to know about youth suicide prevention. I'm sharing real statistics, warning signs, resources, and how we can have these conversations before crisis hits.
As a mom to a 7-year-old and 4-old-year, protecting their fire means keeping them alive to shine it. If you're a parent, this episode is for you. Crisis support: Call or text 988
