The Give Me Five Podcast: An Uncultured Look at Pop Culture and Nostalgia

This week the guys are joined by the Ashley from A Hare Affair. Ashley is a Twitch partner with a heart of gold. Tune in to find out more about what she does, her charitable work and why she chose our movie of the week.

Greg catches us up on some of the things he's been working his way through and we briefly discuss the much anticipated Shudder exclusive Blood Machines. For a deeper dive, join Greg and Jimmy and our very good friends at Trick or Treat Radio!

Ashley chose the 1972 movie Frogs starring Sam Elliot and the gang has an absolute blast dissecting it.

While we usually take you back to the 80's, this week Greg was feeling a little bit 90's due to the Michael Jordan Documentary "The Last Dance". This 10 part series concluded on ESPN and was a fascinating look into the Bull's championship run of the 90s.

We also take a look at the semi-controversial film Brain Candy by the Kids in the Hall. It was controversial when it was released in 1996 and apparently it is controversial on this show as well.

Jimmy takes a look at some charitable offerings from Joy Division / New Order, which support the Epilepsy Society. (Donate here)

Things aren't all serious and dour though, we also cover the home release of Scoob! which was supposed to be in the theaters but ... well... you know. Where does this film fit in the whole scheme of the Scoobiverse?

Of course, the question of the week: What are the best multi-episode documentaries?

A few weeks ago we had a trucker battling ninja, now we've got a Taekwondo rock band fighting ninja bikers over cocaine... I think. Yes folks the second weirdest thing to come out of Orlando since Rob, Miami Connection is up this week. We review the cult classic film that was made right in our city despite being named after a different city. We also talk about how it made its way from obscurity into the houses of crazy bad movie loving people like you.

There is some quality to be discussed this week as well. Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is back and excellent. And Norsemen, while NOT the spiritual successor to Vikings, is also a great diversion.

Of course, the question of the week: What movie or TV mysteries should never be solved?
