Huge amount of content in this episode. So much it will leak from your ear buds in fact. We talk about Umbrella Academy season 2 (finally) and Netflix's Project Power. The former took awhile to decipher and the latter not so much, but both were enjoyable.

Over the weekend, DC revealed many of the projects they've been working on and ALL of them looked great. From The Batman and Suicide Squad to their new video game offerings Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice league, everything looked intriguing. We break down some of that stuff as well.

Rob also has a new book for the fantasy readers out there, Forging Divinity ( book 1 of the War of Broken Mirrors). He gives his thoughts and lets us know if he's moving on to book 2.

Keepin' it evil on Side B, we break down the 1988 Heavy Metal(?) film, Black Roses! Tune in to find out how metal the movie actually is and stick around to hear about Greg's love for Wikifeet.

Join us for our question of the week... What are the top five heavy metal movies?

2 of us love heavy metal. When We Summon the Darkness, a heavy metal satanic panic movie hit Netflix we knew we had to see it. Coincidentally it came out on the week we planned to cover another metal movie (Black Roses, out in our side B episode on Monday). Not all of us loved it but the metal fans found it very authentic.

We also chat about The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires by Grady Hendrix. A fantastic new take on the vampire genre set in the 90's. It is a fun read with a pretty unique story.

Last week we talked about a 3-Pack of terrible shark movies In fact the movies are so bad Jimmy is giving you his copy! The next person who joins the Give Me Five Patreon gets an autographed copy of the 3 worst shark movies ever made. (autographed by us, not by a shark)

Our Patron of Unusual Size Alec joins us this week to discuss his favorite movie of all time, Jaws! Instead of giving a flat out review of the film, we talk about the history behind it, the movie's legacy and what it means to us. Does Jaws stand the test of time? You bet'cha. Is Jimmy scared of the Leprechaun? That's complicated. Tune in to find out.

Inspired by Robert Shaw's performance in the film, we ask the question... What are the top five movie monologues?

Rob found a 3-pack of shark movies at Walmart for $5. Does anything about that sentence sound appealing? Nope? Then you are exactly right! They were terrible, with some of the worst clip-art sharks eating Canadians that I have ever seen. But we watched it, and now we have to talk about it. I'm sorry.

We also talk about some good GI Joe, Tron, and Mix Tape Massacre news.

But yeah, most of the episode is us complaining about bad shark movies.

In fact the movies are so bad Jimmy is giving you his copy! The next person who joins the Give Me Five Patreon gets an autographed copy of the 3 worst shark movies ever made. (autographed by us, not by a shark)

It's still real to us, damn it! The guys review 1989's wrestling flick starring Hulk Hogan No Holds Barred. Does it hold up today? No. The answer is no, but you should still listen anyway.

We flip the question around this week with the Top Five Actors Turned Wrestlers! Check it out to hear our picks.

In honor of this week's episode (144 Side B) where we review No Hold's Barred, we reached out to a friend of the show, CJ O'Doyle. He is an independent wrestler that has wrestled in NXT, TNA, Puerto Rico, & all across Europe. He holds various Championships. Competes for Fest Wrestling, WWN's ACW & FIP, ARW, PPW and many others. Also, he happens to be Greg's neighbor which means Greg ALWAYS cleans up after his dog.

Despite being known as the All Around Jerk, he was kind enough to spend some time with us talking about is experiences in the ring. It was an extraordinarily interesting conversation that covered, how he got into wrestling, his wrestling favorites, training, feuds, good guys, bad guys, intergender wrestling and a very famous weapon that he uh.. sat on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, listen to the interview, if you do, well, then you already know.

CJ was also not too thrilled with Jimmy's absence and MAY have challenged Jimmy to a title match when things get settled down out there. We're pulling for a piranha match!

Rob's been busy. So this week when he had some time to sit down and watch Transformers: War for Cybertron he was disappointed. (like your parents when they realized you were quitting college to be a podcaster)

He then checked out the book The Land: Monsters by Aleron Kong, and was also disappointed. (like my wife when I come home from Target with GI Joe action figures).

Finally he put on the show Cursed and was slightly less disappointed, so he took that as a win. Otherwise we've got some news, and Greg kinda liked Transformers so its not all negative.

Remember to check in on Monday for our Side B episode featuring 1989's Wrestling movie featuring Hulk Hoga.. er... Rip whatever.. Yeah we're covering No Holds Barred, it'll be fun

Here's the deal. On Side B, we generally try to avoid movies that are considered good, or have huge cult following. They Live is one of those films. Hell Comes to Frogtown is not, but it should be.

Of course, the question of the week is Who are the top 5 wrestlers turned actors NOT named John Cena or Dwayne Johnson?

There's a bonus question this week! As a patron, you will receive an absolutely ridiculous custom top five list about YOU! This week, Matt (Juubles) gets the GMF treatment!
