  • Drink & Farm #07 - We've Been on Such a Journey Already
Sam pre-games before they record, Bev plays an April Fool's prank, they both chat a bit about their Easter holiday, lament about how unprepared they are for gardening season, Bev shares her first seed swap experience, they discuss goat feeding and bathroom habit oddities, and Sam reads our first ever listener farm story!
    1 hr 23 min
  • Drink & Farm #06 - So Much Animal Genitalia
We know what you're thinking. This is an episode where Bev and Sam get drunk and giggle about animal private parts. WRONG. We have a very dignified discussion about male pigs, and some unfortunate side effects that occur when they are sexually maturing.....while living in your house. They also discuss planting blueberry bushes, their favorite college football teams, how chickens and ducks procreate, giving goats their CD&T shots and trimming hooves, poultry lice, and Sam makes a lot of goat noises. They feel like it goes without saying you probably shouldn't listen to this episode with tiny humans, but hey, we aren't going to tell you how to raise your kids because there's definitely more than one right way to do it.

  • Drink & Farm #03 BONUS!! - Chickens are Surprisingly Cannibalistic
Sam and Bev thought they would be clever and record two episodes in one day. Turns out, it's hard to stay up to date when you're recording episodes two weeks in advance! Also, recording while drinking a 2nd beverage is harder than they thought. So this third episode is a mid-week bonus! They discuss exposing yourself on a public platform and the app Musical.ly, getting ready for meat chickens, hatching and brooding baby chicks, and several other topics covering chickens and ducks and their care. The long wait to learn Sam's Harry Potter house is also finally over!
    Show Notes:
The study Bev referenced was BS, but here's a link anyhow. Maybe it's not complete BS, but there's no link to actual study results and methodology, and 1,000 kids isn't a large enough sample.
