INTERVIEW: The second Presidential Summit on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide kickstarted in Midrand today. The summit is in response to the 24 demands submitted by the #TheTotalShutdown Intersectional Women's Movement to President Cyril Ramaphosa following 27 nationwide marches on 1 August 2018. The movement protested the country's scourge of gender-based violence and femicide and offered the 24 demands as a solution. INTERVIEW: The coronation of the AmaZulu King MisuZulu

kaZwelithini will take place at the Moses Mabhida
stadium in Durban this Saturday. This comes after the
King participated in the ‘ukungena esibayeni ‘ceremony,

translated as ‘entering the kraal ‘at KwaKhangela Royal
Palace in KwaNongoma in August. We now speak to Dr

INTERVIEW: Nkangala District municipal manager
Margaret Skosana and her driver Gugu Mtsweni have
been found. According to reports a private investigator
working on the case said the alleged kidnappers had
demanded a R5 million ransom for the release of the two.

The Transport Education Training Authority is
launching its reconstruction and recovery programme.
The programme seeks to use the transport sector to
address youth unemployment in the country. We now

Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana has
delivered the Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement.
