Gauteng residents are facing water
shortages. Water restrictions have been imposed in all
three metros in the province. This is because Rand Water
has implemented intermittent water supply. We now
speak to Sputnik Ratau, Spokesperson for the
Department of Water and Sanitation.

TECH TUESDAY: The month of October has been declared
Mental Health Awareness month. We now find out more
about an online platform called the Pocket Couch which
connects people seeking mental health care. We’re joined
on the line by Onkgopotse Khumalo, Founder of the Pocket
Couch.

The Sowetan reports that 549 children were
murdered in the first half of this year. In the latest incident,
the family of 4-year-old Bokgabo Poo is still looking for
some of her body parts after she was murdered and her
body disremembered. 30-year-old Ntokozo Zikhali was
arrested in connection with the murder. Zikhali was out on
bail for allegedly raping a 9-year-old. We now speak to
Marumo Sekgobela who is the Health and Nutrition
Thematic Manager at Save the Children.

There’s a new hijacking trend happening at
fast food outlets. According to security company
Fidelity ADT, motorists are hijacked while they queue for
orders at drive-thru establishments. We now speak to
