Aneta Wynimko, portfolio manager of Fidelity Global Consumer Industries Fund, joins the show today. Today Aneta looks at the state of the global consumer in 2022, noting that consumers have a lot of pent-up savings that they are willing to spend on travel and experiences currently, rather than goods. We’re also seeing a big trend with baby boomers in or nearing retirement, and a lot of their accumulated wealth will be spent in the coming years.
