HOW TO ELIMINATE BINGING AT NIGHT AS AN EX-ATHLETE
So you come home from work
Having a “convenient” lunch
Then you get home and your starving from the day you had
So you eat everything in sight
Cookies, ice cream, pizza, fast food, it goes on and on
This wasn’t an issue when you were an athlete, since you were burning so many calories back then
But now you kept the same eating habits of eating junk when you get home
And now you’ve seen you started getting a beer belly and some man boobs form since sports ended
Your looking in the mirror disappointed compared to what you used to be
I feel you ex-athlete, I’ve worked with a lot of clients who have dealt with this in the past…
So here’s 5 Tips to ELIMINATE late night binging:
EAT more frequently throughout the day. Have 2-3 meals with whole nutrient dense foods. So you don’t feel the NEED to binge at night
Incorporate 2 healthy snacks in between meals. Ex. A fruit and a protein shake.
Save up an extra 200-400 calories for later at night and have a food you might crave at night. Just stay within your calorie goal.
Set a cut off time of eating. If you stop eating at certain time it won’t give the chance to binge late at night.
Go to bed earlier. The earlier your in bed, the more likely you’ll be sleeping by the time you start thinking about binging. Now you don’t have to deal with these binging urges
You feel more energized throughout the day
You actually begin to start losing weight now
You’re feeling more confident on the beach and looking in the mirror
