Brought to public attention by Olaf Ohman in 1898, the stone quickly turned the Swedish farmer’s life upside down and has continued to spark fierce debate for over 120 years. Archaeologists, linguistics experts, and geologists from the 19th to the 21st century have argued passionately both for and against the authenticity of the Kensington Runestone. Supporters claim that this runestone was carved by Vikings and left in the interior of North America in the year 1392, while others dismiss the stone as an elaborate hoax. But what everyone really wants to know is….WHAT DOES THE GOBLIN SQUAD THINK?!
