Kali Ma, known as the Dark Mother and the Divine Mother, is a Hindu goddess. She is a fierce goddess of destruction and death as she is seen fighting demons and tearing down the fabric of creation. She is depicted as having skin like the milky way and hair like galaxies as she appears blue and black, wearing a garland of skulls around her neck, holding a sword of knowledge, a severed head dripping blood and a skull cap to catch the blood.

Dive into the heat of the Trojan war and the Greek pantheon of gods and goddesses. Here we find the priestess, Cassandra, a princess who has the gift of prophecy. She has one hundred percent accuracy of her prophecies. However, no one believes her because she is cursed by the God, Apollo, never to have her prophecies believed. She predicts the fall of Troy, the Greeks hiding in the Trojan horse, but no one believes her. At her lowest point, she is brutally raped by Ajax in Athena’s temple, where she is pleading to the goddess. Athena is enraged and sinks most of the Greek fleet.
Learn more about the story of Cassandra, the gift of prophecy, and how it is relevant to events that are going on with a doctor in India this year. This story could easily be attributed to the fall of morals and ethics in historical cultures, leading to more of a patriarchal society for thousands of years.

After Gilgamesh turns down the advances of the Goddess Innana, she sends the Bull of Heaven to destroy him. However, the Bull of Heaven is killed during an epic seven day battle. Innana decides to descend to the underworld to talk with her sister, Ereshkigal, the Queen of the Underworld and the widow of the Bull of Heaven. Inanna is stripped of her seven divine powers and presents herself naked and bowed at the feet of her sister.
After being killed and hung up on a meat hook, she is brought back to life through a series of synchronistic events. She emerges and escapes the underworld. However, no one escapes the underworld without a replacement. When Inanna finds her lover, Dumuzi, he is not mourning her loss. She allows the demons to take him in her place in the underworld. Dumuzi’s twin sister volunteers to take his place half the year, hence a representation of the Fall Equinox in the descent into the shadow.
Discover how this poem is an early representation of morality and sets the stage for pantheons of gods and goddesses to emerge in future timelines.

Your body is a temple, so why not decorate it? Discover why witches love tattoos to cultivate or embody an energy signature. Consciously choosing your tattoos for your magickal practice allows one to integrate the energy of what the tattoo means to the wearer, similar to an altar.
Join April and Maggie as they dive into magickal tattoos of their practice and of history. Amunet is a mummy that was discovered close to 2000 BCE. She is believed to be the High Priestess of a group of priestesses to the goddess Hathor that were found in Thebes together. When archeologists performed x-rays on the mummies, they were found to have concentric circles, lines, and dots, a lot of them around their abdomen and groin area, which they believe had to do with the sacred birth and a relationship to Hathor being the Goddess of earth and motherhood. The oldest tattoos that have been discovered are from a caveman named, Otzi. He has 61 tattoos which appear to have been very specifically and intentionally placed. The tattoos are believed to be ceremonial healing tattoos. Would you get a power tattoo for healing?
