Take a walk with the witches in Colonial American history, Joan Wright, Alse Young, Dorothy Good, Mary Johnson, John and Joan Carrington, Rebecca and Nathaniel Greensmith. Joan Wright, also known as the “Surry Witch,” is the first known woman accused of witch craft in the British North American Colonies in 1626. She was a self-proclaimed healer, mid-wife, and a “cunning woman.” Alse Young was the first person executed for witchcraft in the thirteen American colonies in 1647. Witchcraft was punishable by death as one of twelve capital crimes.
If you are a practicing witch and your legacy is an American witch, get to know the first witch that was accused and the first witch that is executed in our country. How have we evolved over the years?

Your body is a temple, so why not decorate it? Discover why witches love tattoos to cultivate or embody an energy signature. Consciously choosing your tattoos for your magickal practice allows one to integrate the energy of what the tattoo means to the wearer, similar to an altar.
Join April and Maggie as they dive into magickal tattoos of their practice and of history. Amunet is a mummy that was discovered close to 2000 BCE. She is believed to be the High Priestess of a group of priestesses to the goddess Hathor that were found in Thebes together. When archeologists performed x-rays on the mummies, they were found to have concentric circles, lines, and dots, a lot of them around their abdomen and groin area, which they believe had to do with the sacred birth and a relationship to Hathor being the Goddess of earth and motherhood. The oldest tattoos that have been discovered are from a caveman named, Otzi. He has 61 tattoos which appear to have been very specifically and intentionally placed. The tattoos are believed to be ceremonial healing tattoos. Would you get a power tattoo for healing?
