The good news? The Orange offense was humming under Ohio State transfer QB Kyle McCord, who threw for a career-high 354 yards. Trebor Pena had 3 touchdowns, Oronde Gadsden II returned to the field with 108 yards and a score and Georgia transfers Zeed Haynes and Jackson Meeks both made big catches. 

The bad news? The Syracuse defense got gashed for 255 yards rushing by the Bobcats and lost linebacker Marlowe Wax to what looks to be a serious foot injury.
