I had an inspiring lunch with a friend, who’s in her mid-twenties where she shared her biggest goal and her mapped out a plan to achieve it. Which made me realize how sacred most people are of boldly owning what they want. A lot of that fear comes from self-doubt and caring about what other people think. Listen to hear my thoughts on owning what you want and feel inspired to do the same!

As you know, I’m big on ebbing and flowing with your emotional seasons. As we near the end of the year, I’m in a season of having more space so new things may unfold. With that, I’ve decided to take a break from posting new episodes in November and December to honor that internal pull. There are also a few personal changes that influenced my decision that I explain more of in this episode.
We plan to be back in 2022 and are excited to see what this period of rejuvenation will bring to me, my family, and my team at The Good Space. We’re still sending our weekly emails with writing prompts, affirmations, practical tips, and more so make sure to sign up.
Until the new year, please enjoy the episodes we’ve shared so far. We also compiled a list of the top 5 most-listened-to episodes below. Thank you and see you soon!

What happens when you go forward without an idea of what’s to come? When you let adventure unfold? Sometimes great moments happen because you are fully present. Fully alive. I want to share a story with you recently that I experienced in Central Park as a tangible way to talk about the things I’ve been learning about creating space in your life and embracing the space.

This is another honest random thought from when I was feeling really lazy and not wanting to put any effort into anything. I share thoughts on not requiring comfort as a prerequisite for trying new things, why challenging the stories you tell yourself matters, and how life isn’t about points to score or things to own.

NEW MINI-EPISODE EVERY THURSDAY

What happens when a child has emotionally immature parents? How do you recognize it and heal yourself? This episode is inspired fully by Lindsay C. Gibson’s book Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents. Understanding what an emotionally immature parent looks like gives you the power to judge for yourself the level of relationship you can have with them. Or anyone really.
After this episode, you’ll have the ability to better create boundaries with ease and focus on living from a true, authentic space. Rather than spending tons of time and energy on a parent who won’t change.
Jenica from The Good Space community messaged me after reading it saying she thought it would be a great topic to speak on. She was without a doubt inspired to share it. Thank you Jenica because the book changed my life and I’m grateful for that and for you.
