We start with 2007's "The Mist," Frank Darabont's tense, bleak, yet completely prescient adaptation of Stephen King's novella, then we swing into King himself with his sole directorial effort, 1986's "Maximum Overdrive," before finishing with one of the strangest, yet completely compelling video store oddities: 1990's "Demon Wind."

This week, Ryan and Chris look at three pieces of historical pulp fiction with a cartoonish tone about rounding up a posse to take down the corrupt in power. We start with Brian De Palma's hugely entertaining 1987 crime flick "The Untouchables" (fresh off a new 4K UHD transfer), then come down hard on 2013's "Gangster Squad" (virtually the same plot as "The Untouchables" just that the names, places, and locations have changed and the fun vacuumed out of it) before finishing with 1988's Brat-Pack Western oddity (though popular at the time), "Young Guns."

We start with 1997's "Breakdown," a nerve-frying thriller with a top-tier Kurt Russell performance, then talk about 2006's misbegotten DTV horror flick "Rest Stop," before finishing out with 1986's nightmarish, propulsive cult classic: "The Hitcher."

Our "good" and our "bad" pick speak to one-another, as both center around protagonists who attempt to lead the "Easy Rider" lifestyle and come up short. In this case, those films are Albert Brooks' biting "Lost in America" and the inexplicably popular-at-the-time ($170m domestic) 2007 wet fart of a comedy, "Wild Hogs." Then, we shift gears from getting lost in America to getting lost in Canada with one of the what-iest what's we've done on the show: 2000's "Ryan's Babe."
