Hello, and welcome to another episode of The Good, The Bad, and The What!? The show in which we discuss three films that we have deemed "good," "bad," or "what!?" within a subgenre, theme, motif, director or actor's filmography, and more!
This week, Ryan and Chris are back for another Minisode, this time with two films that couldn't be further apart from one another outside of being carte blanche auteurist projects. We start with a brief discussion of "The Card Counter," the latest film from Paul Schrader, before spending the meat of the episode on "Malignant" the latest film from James Wan. We dive into non-spoiler thoughts on "Malignant" first before getting into full-on spoilers, as it's a difficult film to discuss without them. We give you plenty of warning before we swing into them.
