You can EAT ON IT for daysThat is what we have here. An easy, crockpot, pizza casserole. Packed full with protein and so delicious your family will love you again.
A pot (or dutch oven) and your crockpot
3 (OR MORE) lbs of ground beef
1/2 cup of onion
1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
1 teaspoon salt (or wayyyyy more)
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
dash of pepper
roughly a 1lb box of elbow noodles.
2 packages of sliced turkey pepperoni
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded mozarella cheese
Acquire the meat
Chop up the onion into little pieces. You can dice it or slice into slices WHO CARES
In a dutch oven, brown the meat and onions until there is no pink
Pour in the pasta sauce, lots of salttttt, garlic powder, oregano, dash of pepper
mix it up and heat it through
Fill the bottom of your crockpot with about half the meat goop
Spread a layer of elbows on top of meat goop
Cover elbows with cheese and pepperoni
Make another layer the same way (meat, cover with elbows, add pepperoni and cheese)
Keep making layers until you run out of all your shit
Put in the crock pot on low for 3-5 hours. Basically just until the noodles are cooked through.
