Raised on Ritalin: A Personal Story of ADHD, Medication, and Modern Psychiatry is my story of being diagnosed with ADD and treated with Ritalin, and all the ways that has impacted my life. It is also the story of ADD/ADHD itself – the origins and development of the diagnosis and its treatments including drugs like Ritalin and Adderall, as well as its biological and sociological underpinnings, and even the history of modern psychiatry in general.

Presidential Knife Fight: The Game has launched its Kickstarter campaign today, which does not fund any political causes, but instead helps bring a game about the former United States presidents physically fighting with knives to life.
Presidential Knife Fight is a fast-paced, “take that” style tabletop card game which pits all 43 former presidents against each other in a giant melee brawl. Each player uses their president’s abilities, as well as action cards and stab actions, to wound their opponents in order to become the Supreme President of These United States.

After the extremely informative and entertaining interview with Richard Starkings, Tyler and Jeff sat down and got to read Elephantmen! What did we think? Find out!
Jeff and Tyler got to read the “big editions’ of volume 1 (issues 1-7) and volume 00 (“ELEPHANTMEN: WAR TOYS, VOL. 1: NO SURRENDER; ELEPHANTMEN: YVETTE ONE SHOT and ELEPHANTMEN #34-35 plus almost 100 pages of bonus materials!” Via Comixology).

Elephantmen synopsis:
They were genetically engineered to be supra-human weapons of mass destruction, but now they must walk amongst the people they were created to destroy. Hip Flask and Ebony Hide count amongst their number: Elephantmen. Even when befriended by a small girl, Hide is still haunted by his past and is forced to recognize that suspicion and contempt will always be his constant companions.

I headed over to Comicraft stuidios to interview the unbelievably talented Richard Starkings! The interview went longer than expected and I think it is amazing from start to finish. Since IndiComix is usually a 30 minute episode I edited a shorter version and the full version!
