  • The Power of Mediumship, Part One | Grave Talks CLASSIC
This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Scott Allan’s discovery of mediumship is an unsettling ghost story that could have been written as the narrative of a man gone mad, complete with disembodied voices and encounters with spirits who drove him to the brink of insanity. The spirits that tormented him follow him to this day. Spirits that can be both friend and foe. Today, we hear Part One of his story on The Grave Talks.

    • White Hill Mansion | Grave Talks CLASSIC
This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

Robert Field inherited the property that would later be known as The White Hill Mansion from his father in 1757. As a successful merchant, Robert built a comfortable mansion on the property. Robert married Mary Peel in 1765. The marriage would be cut short by death, as Robert drowned under mysterious circumstances on January 29, 1775.

Mary lived at White Hill Mansion throughout the Revolutionary War and, thanks to her cunning intelligence, helped the property survive intact. In 1797, Mary signed over the property to her son, Robert III. Unfortunately, he lost the entire property due to mismanagement in 1804.

The White Hill Mansion has changed hands many times since the original owners, occupied by inventors, doctors, and a State Senator. In 1923, an upscale German Restaurant often visited by New Jersey’s elite was opened in The White Hill Mansion. In 1972, the restaurant was sold. It was twice sold after that, and finally to Stephan who planned to demolish the house. The Borough bought the White Hill Mansion, saving it from destruction.

A restoration project of The White Hill Mansion began in 2004. Over 30,000 artifacts were uncovered, as well as several building foundations and evidence of Native American occupation. Many spirits are still said to haunt the halls of The White Hill Mansion. Today, we learn who they are.

This is a Grave Talks CLASSIC EPISODE!

It was the career move of a lifetime. Angelina Rivera was on track to be on the Bass Pro fishing team; the only problem was where she would live. With the help of a friend, she was offered a very spacious place to stay, loaded with rooms, multiple bathrooms, and even a gym. The only problem was that it was an old abandoned schoolhouse that needed someone to help take care of it. It was housing, nonetheless, so Angelina gladly accepted. Only to soon discover that while no living souls were passing through the halls of this old building, there were many souls of those who had passed on. Angelina would soon meet many of them. Today, we hear Part Two of her story on The Grave Talks.

          • A Family of Spirits, Part Two | Mason House Inn
Chuck and Joy Hanson were looking to buy a farm in Iowa. They ended up buying the Mason House Inn, which is considered to be one of the most haunted locations in Iowa. The Mason House Inn in Bentonsport, Iowa, was built in 1846 as an inn for steamboat travelers traveling on the Des Moines River, and more than 175 years later, it’s still being used as an inn.

Chuck and Joy knew the Inn had the ghost of an older woman, and they thought if they left her alone, she’d leave them alone. Little did they know they would experience hundreds of spirits in the home. Some might find that terrifying, but they feel like their family. They even have the names of around 50 of the spirits there. Today, on the Grave Talks, Part Two of A Family of Spirits, a conversation with Chuck and Joy Hanson about the Mason House Inn.

Get more information at their website, themasonhouseinn.com, or search for them on Facebook.
