Well, I've talked enough about horror hosts, so I thought it was time to actually hear from a horror host- Dick Dyszel (aka Count Gore De Vol) will join me to talk about his long career as a horror host in the DC area. He's one of the great horror hosts of all time, and he'll share his thoughts about:

* How he came up with Count Gore, and where the name came from.

* What it was like working in local television.

* His encounter with a future President, and what dancing had to do with any of it.

* His initial thoughts when he first saw Elvira on television.

As I begin "Phase Two" of my interviews I decided to shift my focus on the topic of Horror Hosts, and I thought what better way to introduce that topic than by revisiting my interview with Sandy Clark, the producer/co-writer of the film American Scary. Kevin had worked as the series editor since Saw, and we'll talk about his transition from editor to director for this film, his on-set experiences working with the torture devices, and trying to make the best film in the series. This interview is with actor and musician Ari Lehman, who played Jason in the original Friday the 13th; he was the boy who jumped out of the lake at the end of the film. We discuss what it was like shooting that scene, how he got the part, and life as a frontman for his band First Jason. He will also give his thoughts on how Jason went from the boy in the original film to the unstopable killing machine in the sequels.

The gates to the Graveyard Show Podcast (2009-2010) have reopened, and I thought (a decade later) it was time to start revisiting many of my interviews from that time with an updated introduction and close to each of these new "Tombstone Editions". 

My first tombstone being placed in my newly renovated graveyard is with director Patrick Lussier, and he came on my show to discuss his film My Bloody Valentine 3-D. We talked about what it was like shooting in the 3-D process, the making of the film, and working as Wes Craven's editor among other things.

There will be many more of these Tombstone Editions to come, including an interview with someone from a famous horror film that has never been heard since the show went away in 2010.
