Disney Dining Plan – to do or not to do!!  Sounds simple or sounds daunting, hope we can help!

Claire takes the anchor duties for the first time in quite a while, joined by the whole team of John, Sammie, Gill, Peter, Ben and Becca to continue that discussion from the past few months. Food…. and especially trying to ascertain “Is the DDP EVER really free?”

We recognise that the dining plan isn’t currently an option,but looking forward to planning and booking into 2022 and beyond, we thought it was definitely something worth waffling about to help plan your next trip to WDW.

The food talk will most certainly make you hungry and remind you of those restaurants you really love.

A new feature, brand new for May, we introduce “Come Disney with Me”.

It’s a Wafflers’ take on the classic TV shows similar to Come Dine with Me, where every month, one Waffler will take the opportunity to present 3 things to the GBMW team and ask for their ratings and views!

In this month's show, our Scottish Lass Sammie is hosting and firstly we recap what we have learnt in our recent episodes about the different options when it comes to Orlando accommodation.  We discuss our favourite options and if our minds have been swayed from our usual choices. For the next in our ‘Shares a Waffle series’ we are joined by DizneyDan for a show filled with Disney memories, fun, Sanaa bread service and lots, lots more - even cleaning windows at the Cali Grill! 

John, Sammie, Ben and Becca welcome Dan to share a waffle and share his journey from First visit to Cast Member and beyond. Some great stories and some wonderful memories of Wishes, Fantasmic, Subway and some poignant moments too. Just don’t mention attack of the Clones! 

Dan also shares how he created his YouTube channel and how he became such a prolific content creator and valued part of the Disney creator community. We really could have talked all day! He also faces the challenge of our Carousel of Questions which became less quickfire and more a sharing of the waffle at its very best.

For this months ‘Waffle’, Ben is in charge and we take to the skies in one of Disney’s finest transportation options. Disney’s Skyliner.

Unfortunately the Millennium Falcon was being repaired after we managed to crash it during Smugglers Run. Once we had recovered by riding Rise of The Resistance it was time to take on a challenge set by one of our listeners.

We attempt a bar crawl from Hollywood Studios to Epcot, stopping at all Skyliner Resorts for 1 food item and 1 drink. Some very interesting choices were made and some were easier to pronounce than others.

Once we had recovered from our trip we delved into the options available and what to consider when staying offsite. From the delights of the expansive hotels on International Drive to being close to Disney Springs by staying in Lake Buena Vista.
