Guy takes issue with the local media coverage of this shooting. He also took issue with Lawyer Mario Massillamany’s opinon on WTHR "You're still looking at murder charges, even if that was his car and he legally could possess a gun because, in Indiana, the only time you're allowed to use deadly force is in your house," says Massillamany.

Guy agrees with Indiana state law that only allows the use of deadly force when your life is threatened. You are not allowed to use deadly force when one is running off with property. A caller asks when deadly force is justified. Guy talks about the 4 times one is justified in using deadly force.

Guy Relford returns for another episode of “The Gun Guy” on 93.1 WIBC. Guy begins the show talking about Irvington resident Lance Huffman, whose family home has been shot at 5 times in the last two months. In the second hour, Guy does some myth busting regarding prior felony's and being able to legally possess a firearm. Fortunately, many non-violent felonies can be expunged. Towards the end of the show, Irvington resident Lance Huffman calls in to report that a suspect has been arrested. As usual, Guy takes calls from the listeners.

Guy talks about an interview he read with Professor Leila Sadat, who is the James Carr Professor of International Criminal Law at the Washington University in St. Louis.

Sadat: "The current focus in the United States is almost entirely on the “rights” of individuals wishing to purchase and wield arms, which they frame as “gun rights” guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the US constitution. I like to say there’s no such thing as gun rights because guns don’t have rights, people do. And that’s not just me being professorial, it’s a fundamental point."
Guy takes issue with that logic. The 2nd Amendment is not a 2nd tier right. There is no hierarchy in our bill of rights.

in the 2nd hour, Guy talks about practical reasons for Hoosiers to get a carry license, even though our state is now a constitutional carry state. While Hoosiers have the right to carry without a license, they may not be able to carry outside the state without an Indiana Carry License.
