Guy Relford is back for another edition of the Gun Guy on 93.1 WIBC. Today’s show abbreviated because of Indy Car Race coverage later on WIBC. Guy begins the show talking the town of Edgewater, Colorado which just banned the open carry of firearms, with at least one city council member attempting to tie the carrying of guns to white supremacy. Guy then proceeds to talk about how fortunate we are to live in Indiana where local municipalities are unable to restrict our Constitutional Carry. Guy also discusses guns and their carry methods. As always Guy takes calls from listeners.

Guy Relford returns back to the studio for another edition of the Gun Guy on 93.1 WIBC. Guy begins the show talking about Gen Con and the Chicken and Beer festival in Indianapolis. Then, he moves on to talking about the laws of self-defense.  

In the course of the show, Guy talks about the law of self-defense and uses an example from a video of business owners defending themselves. He goes on to talk about different laws pertaining to the self-defense and how it pertains to deadly force. Guy concludes the first hour taking calls with from listeners.

In the second hour, Guy continues talks on the gun owner’s self-defense laws and situations where they are applicable. The discussion turns to the definition of a forcible felony and how different self-defense laws pertain. Later on in the hour, callers share self-defense questions with Guy.

Guy Relford returns back to the studio for another edition of the Gun Guy on 93.1 WIBC. Guy begins the show talking about the Greenwood Park Mall shooting incident, and the Good Samaritan Elisjsha Dicken who saved lives, because he was a good guy with a gun. 

In the course of the show, Guy talks about what the actual law is regarding “Gun Free Zones” here in Indiana, and says that those who are accusing Dicken of illegally carrying are not only wrong, but they are defaming Dicken by making these false statements. Guy takes a bunch of phone calls from listeners. 

In the second hour, Guy talks to Kystie Phillips, who had to use a gun to save the life of an Indiana Conservation Officer in front of her home in 2017. Despite her heroic act, she had to face a civil lawsuit from the deceased man’s family. Guy and Indiana State Representative Jim Lucas worked to pass legislation to protect heroes like Phillips from being hit such ghastly lawsuits after a gun has been used in the act of self-defense or saving the lives of others.

Guy returns for a special edition of the “Gun Guy Show” joining Tony Katz for a live remote at in Brownsburg at Premier Arms for a fundraiser benefiting Brownsburg Blessing Boxes. Guy talks to Tony about his history at WIBC, and how they joined the station around the same time. Tony then talks his hopeful outlook about the station under new ownership.  Later Tony and Guy talks about constitutional carry, and how the SCOTUS Bruen ruling re-affirms our right to bear arms. Government is not in the position to deny what is our constitutional right. Later in the show Guy talks about how the publisher for “Dummies” series of books reached out to him to write “Gun Safety for Dummies”. Guy also takes questions from callers and members of the live audience.
