Then, the conversation turns to carry methods and how to decide which method is the best for each individual gun owner. Ryan Christopher comes back for a second segment and this segment revolves around what is the best gun to buy and what goes into making that decision. Guy starts the show with a class he took last week in Martinsville covering potentially violent street encounters. Guy details what was discussed in terms of decision making, shooting and certain scenarios. Then, he talks about an encounter he had on Monday afternoon in downtown Indianapolis on Monument Circle.

(13:34-19:15) It’s officially election season around Indiana and primary elections are taking place on May 3. Guy discusses what he’s concerned about ahead of primaries at the beginning of the week.

(19:16-30:32) District 57 Republican Candidate Melinda Griesemer joins the show to talk about why she decided to run for statehouse representative, constitutional carry and the type of legislation she would push if she were to be elected in District 57.

 (30:33-35:44) To round out the first hour, Guy discusses an organization called the Liberty Defense PAC and questions the legitimacy and credibility of their posts including a post they made on Friday afternoon.  

(35:45-52:32) To kick off the second hour, Guy is joined by Indiana State Representative Jake Teshka to discuss the claims that the aforementioned Liberty Defense PAC made about Teshka trying to tear down constitutional carry. Jake and Guy discuss a number of topics from Tuesday’s primary election, what Liberty Defense is trying to do and the falsehoods the PAC is pushing during primary season. To finish the conversation, Guy and Jake talk about the strategy of using failure as a political strategy in the statehouse.

(52:33-58:48) Guy continues to the discussion he and Jake had about the Liberty Defense PAC and the tactics they are using.

(58:49-1:07:23) Constitutional carry will go into effect on July 1. Despite that accomplishment, there are other issues that Guy and the 2A Project want to address in Indiana legislation. Guy discusses a handful of topics that should get some attention now that constitutional carry has made its way through the statehouse. That includes a discussion about discrimination from financial institutions against businesses in the firearms industry.

(33:58-43:33) To kick off the second hour, Guy gets deeper into self-defense by recapping what happened at a jewelry store in Terre Haute and taking a call about what happens with self-defense when your business is in your home.
