The Hall H Show – The Voice of Independent Creators

Hey there fellow nerds and geeks!

Aaron Nabus here and thank you so much for tuning into the Hall H Show Podcast!

On this episode, we bridge the gap between the breakdancing and bboy culture and comic books and pop culture with our special guests from The Not So Fresh Podcast, Art Tejada (Destijl), Mad Mike Logic, Saso (who you may know from The Jabbawockeez) and RoxRite, a world champion bboy, currently sponsored by Red Bull.

We are also joined by our good friend Jason Lethert from HeroJournalism.com.

This is part two of our joint podcast session so please go to Tuffrocking.com and check out part one.

We drank like Thor and The Warriors Three, as we continued our discussion (so this is a not safe for work episode). Not only did we learn more about bboy culture, but we also talked about their upcoming breakdancing event, The Get Down, and of course we also talked about San Diego Comic-con!

Thanks again to The Not So Fresh podcast for coming on the show (and for the beer). Enjoy!

On this Hall H Show episode, Aaron Nabus & Alex Benedicto reconnect with a previous guest, comic book creator and owner of publisher, Kid Comics, Keithan Jones! "Young or old, the KID in you never dies. That's the philosophy behind this company. I created The Power Knights when I was 11 years old. In those years creating comics on a professional level was just a dream. I felt I owed my younger self the opportunity to make it a reality." With a quote like that, how could we not invite Keithan Jones, owner of independent comic book publisher Kid Comics back to the show? Keithan was gracious enough to let us swing by KID Comics HQ for a two hour conversation where he gave us an update on The Power Knights issue #3, which was successfully funded on Kickstarter. He also shares some insight into what it's like being an artist and business owner, what he would like Kid Comics to become and a lot more…enjoy and Artists Assemble!
