Despite a tragic car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down, he and his wife Mona responded to God's call to minister the Gospel in Tucson, Arizona.

Pastor Warner faithfully serves as senior pastor to the same congregation that he and Mona started in 1973. American conductor Troy Quinn is quickly establishing himself as one of his generation's most versatile young artists. Lauded for his energetic and riveting, yet sensitive conducting, Quinn is in his sixth season as Music Director of the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra in Kentucky. He is also the Music Director of the Venice Symphony in Florida where he conducts both the classical and pops concert series. Quinn's engagements have included performances with many prestigious orchestras in the United States, including the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, and the Rhode Island Philharmonic, where he serves as the Summer Pops conductor. He is also the former Music Director of the Juneau Symphony.

Since making his conducting debut with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in their young conductor preview, Quinn has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including awards from the Presser Foundation, Rislov Foundation, Anna Sosenko Assist Trust, and a Rhode Island Foundation grant for his contributions to the musical landscape in New England. Equally at home in the pops and commercial world, Quinn has performed and recorded with some of the most popular artists of our time, including The Rolling Stones, Barry Manilow, Lee Greenwood, Josh Groban, Jennifer Hudson, Rockapella, Michael Feinstein, and Linda Eder. As an accomplished vocalist, Quinn has also collaborated with such prominent maestros as Helmuth Rilling, Carl St. Clair, and Dan Saunders of the Metropolitan Opera. In addition to his concert work, Quinn has worked extensively in the television and recording industry, having made appearances on such hit TV shows as Fox's GLEE, NBC's The Voice, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno while recording on films like The Call of the Wild and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. He has also appeared at many of the world's major music centers and at such famed venues as the Hollywood Bowl and Walt Disney Concert Hall.

A native of Connecticut, Quinn pursued a bachelor of arts degree from Providence College where he was the recipient of the Leo S. Cannon award for superior achievement in the music field. He went on to earn his masters degree with honors from the Manhattan School of Music, studying conducting with David Gilbert and voice with highly acclaimed Metropolitan Opera singer Mark Oswald. He completed his doctorate in conducting at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, where he studied with Larry Livingston and Jo-Michael Scheibe and was awarded the outstanding doctoral graduate of his class. Quinn has participated in numerous masterclasses as a conducting fellow, attending conducting institutes at the Royal Academy of Music, Eastman School of Music, and Bard Conservatory of Music. He has been mentored by such renowned conductors as Benjamin Zander, Neil Varon, and Leon Botstein. Quinn serves on the conducting faculty at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music and has previously served as a faculty member at Providence College.

Dr. Kester's early years were involved in music, playing in orchestras and bands. Later, she became a physician practicing Emergency Medicine for the last 35 years, having retired last fall. Dr. Kester has been involved in the protection of quiet for well over 15 years, including as president of the One Square Inch of Silence Foundation, founded by Gordon Hempton, and most recently participating on the board of Quiet Parks International. In addition to acting as treasurer, Dr. Kester's skills and experience in the field of medicine enable her to directly focus on health and wellbeing, with is profoundly affected by extraneous noise.

This week on The Hamilton Review Podcast, Dr. Bob welcomes Chesca Colloredo - Mansfeld to the show! Chesca discusses the incredible way that MiracleFeet is impacting children and family's lives all over the world.

Driven by the idea that a newly accepted low-cost, non-surgical treatment could have extraordinary impact on the lives of children born with clubfoot in low and middle income countries, Chesca co-founded MiracleFeet in 2010. She successfully built on experience in investment banking, management consulting and technology start-ups to refashion herself as a social entrepreneur.

Originally from England, Chesca grew up in Africa and Asia, and has lived and worked in Pakistan, Ecuador, UK and US. She first became interested in clubfoot while working at The University of Iowa, where the Ponseti Method was pioneered. Drawn to the opportunity to have an impact on children's lives in some of the countries where she had grown up, she joined a small group of parents and surgeons interested in creating an organization to address the long-overlooked issue of untreated clubfoot.

She studied economics and political science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain scholar, and later earned an MBA from Stanford University.

Lanhee Chen is a leader, problem-solver and educator who has built his career on tackling some of California and America's biggest fiscal policy challenges. He was raised in Southern California and is the son of immigrants from Taiwan. After earning four degrees from Harvard University, including a law degree and doctorate in political science, he served in senior roles in both Republican and Democratic presidential administrations. Today, Lanhee is regarded as one of America's leading policy commentators and experts. He is currently on leave from Stanford University, where he teaches public policy and conducts research at the Hoover Institution, a think tank on campus. He has helped leaders in California and across the country develop policies to address some of our society's most pressing problems—like improving our health care system, saving Social Security, and growing our economy. His writings have appeared in America's biggest newspapers and he has frequently shared his ideas and policy recommendations on television news programs across America and around the world. Previously, Lanhee was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate to serve as a member of the independent and bipartisan Social Security Advisory Board, a group of leaders that advise the President, Congress, and other policymakers on matters relating to the Social Security program. Lanhee built his own small business, which focuses on providing advice on fiscal and other public policy issues to leaders in both the public and private sectors. He is an investor who works with entrepreneurs to help them grow their businesses and create new jobs. Lanhee has also taken an active leadership role in a variety of nonprofit organizations. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of El Camino Health, a health care system in his community. Lanhee grew up rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Lakers— and remains a die-hard fan of both teams to this day. He and his wife Cynthia, a nonprofit attorney, live in the Bay Area and have an eleven-year-old son and eight year-old daughter.
