In 1984, a man nicknamed the hammer killer attacked 9 people in Colorado in less than 1 month. These attacks were violent and barbaric. But as fast as they started, the attacks stopped completely. Even with the FBIs help, there was not any movement in the case for 34 years until a CODIS hit in 2018 broke the case wide open.
