22 Senate Republicans voted for cloture on the Senate budget bill. They not only refused to use the bill as leverage to hold the current administration responsible for a host of tragedies but they also added an additional two knives to the backs of American taxpayers. Also, two new polls regarding shared American values were published this week by Barna and the results are fascinating and encouraging.  In a stunning move, Glenn Beck, a long time supporter of a Constitutional Convention, announced he is no longer supporting the calls for a CON-CON. Hannah covers what was behind Beck's announcement and his stipulation. Next Hannah discusses the state of corn, soybean, and cotton crops in the US this year. She also discusses how the Black Sea Grain Deal struck between Ukraine and Russia impacted the exporting of grain from Ukraine during the later part of the summer and what the future of that deal could be. Lastly, Ligioner Ministries and Lifeway Research provided a survey on the "theological temperature" of the US. Focusing on results for US Evangelicals, Hannah provides some unsurprisingly sad survey results regarding various doctrines but one key question reveals maybe things aren't as bad as they appear. Join Hannah as she uncovers what the bottom line issue appears to be and how Believers can respond in order to best disciple fellow Believers.
