Joining us is Jason Newland, an investigator with the Leon county state's attorney's office in Tallahassee, Florida. Jason has intimate knowledge of today’s case as he was one of the cold case investigators who helped solve it. In conversation with Jason is producer Cris Graves.

Mike Williams was 31 years-old and had everything he’d ever wanted. A former high-school football player, he’d married Denise Merrell, his cheerleader girlfriend in 1994. Five years later, they welcomed their daughter into the world and Mike couldn’t wait to have more children.
