This one's for anyone who prefers their doom served slightly blackened! Cue the Sun are a rad trio of heavy-riff goblins who joined us for a lively discussion about cryptids, Mortal Kombat fatalities, and forest-themed stage decoration. We also played killer music from their recent EP, available for purchase and streaming on Bandcamp. Catch Cue the Sun live in Portland on 3.28 at the Alleway and again on 4.11 at the Snug.

p.s. There is a slight audio issue on one mic this episode, for which we are very sorry. But it still rewards a just-a-little-careful listen!

• "choke it out" by salv the dog
