The Hawkeye Huddle

A wrestling meet for the ages, great basketball, and loads of other fun items for the discussion this week.

It's great to be an Iowa Hawkeye-- really.... think about what a great few months we've had. The boys discuss along with plenty of hoops and wrestling talk.

With both basketball teams rapidly moving up in the polls and the grapplers remaining on top of the mountain, there's a lot to chat about in the world of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Football news is wrapping up for the year, but there are still conversations to be had. And the basketball and wrestling programs had a big week, providing lots of food for thought.

Basketball, wrestling, women's basketball and even CFB Hall of Fame discussion.

A Holiday Bowl Celebration! Oh, and a few hoops too.

A Holiday Bowl preview show with some solid basketball talk thrown in for good measure.

A lot fun to talk about a pair of basketball wins in Ames against cross-state rivals as well as chat about football signing day. Unfortunately, news of Hayden Fry's passing did not make it to the boys during the show. Reflections on coach Fry will have to wait until next Thursday. (Next show moved to Dec. 26)

The Hawkeyes are headed to the Holiday Bowl and the winter sports season is in full swing!

With Brett gone for work, David is joined by Bruce from GMigs to talk Hawkeye Hoops and the big win over Nebraska in football.
