  • The Heavyist #216 Vitriol / Knoll / Kaonashi / Exocrine / Joey of Underneath

Vitriol & Knoll produce phenomenal, intense beasts. I'd be surprised if many albums are more extreme than these all year. Sonny eats some humble pie on Kaonashi and Exocrine deliver concise and exciting tech death mastery.

Also this week we chat with Joey Phillips of Underneath again, they dropped some absolute heat last week so we catch up on that.

Thanks for listening homies and thanks to Joey for hanging!

  • The Heavyist #215 Underneath / Resin Tomb
2 huge debut albums from beloved bands here, what a treat.
Underneath stepping up with their first full length, it absolutely bangs. With this and the old school deathcore bands, the genre feels exciting for the first time in a while. I can't wait to see where this band are in a few years.
Disso-mosh kings Resin Tomb are here to maul you to death then feed you into a cosmic vortex. Unreal calibur of awesome from the two bands!
