Welcome, listeners! Join me, Lisa Toth, as we venture through the Hidden Workforce, a show about the positive impact people who live with different abilities bring to the workforce and our world.
Clarence Lee Jay, a 1920’s sensation in California, was the architect for The Abbey
Mausoleum here in Tulsa. After experiencing several decades of neglect, in 2013 Hal & Karyn Ezzell acquired the funeral home and cemetery property. They brought their passion for the history of Rose Hill Cemetery and architecture of The Abbey Mausoleum, making a strong commitment to restore the property. This weekend on The Hidden Workforce, local treasure Lola Palazzo, will tell us all about this secret in the hidden workforce, and unique Tulsa Landmark. We'll learn more about her efforts to get the mausoleum on the National Historic Register and her passion for treating the dead as well as the living in this exclusive interview.
We also have special guest reporter, Kelsey O'Halloran, bringing us along with her while she participates in the St Patrick's Day dance celebration at Kilkenny's and at her volunteer job at the Gathering place where she interviews an employee of over 3 years.
