Welcome, listeners! Join me, Lisa Toth, as we venture through the Hidden Workforce, a show about the positive impact people who live with different abilities bring to the workforce and our world.
This weekend on the Hidden Workforce we have quite the show for you to tune in to! We'll keep you on the edge of your seat with back to back interviews catching up with new and old friends we have featured- you won't want to miss this!
Kicking off the first segment of our show, remote reporter Kelsey O'Halloran takes us live to the Tulsa Zoo as she interviews Patrick Weisz, Vice President of Guest Experience.
Remember when Extreme Makeover Home Edition (EMOHE) came to Tulsa? In this next segment, we take you behind the scenes to the second-place project submission for Tulsa! Even though it wasn't selected for EMOHE , that didn't stop us! We are joined with Toby Powell from Concept Builders. He was the contractor who provided Lisa with a free consultation for the EMOHE project submission, and when the submission wasn't selected, Mr. Powell sent his own workers out to this home and provided the renovations needed free of charge!
Last but not least, we hear back from Raittia Rogers! She wrote the book, "I Broke Out of Prison" and since then, she has produced a documentary based off her book and experiences! She is hosting a premier coming soon! This event is important to the hidden workforce, because Raittia is a powerful force advocating for her community and opportunities for them. Something that we are all too familiar with and is near and dear to our hearts.
