Indiana dropped its first game of the season on Tuesday night, a wild, four-OT defeat at the Carrier Dome against Syracuse. Trayce Jackson-Davis continued his tear to start the season, dropping another 31 points with 16 rebounds. He's IU's best player, but is it time to start talking about him as the best player to wear the Hoosier uniform since the end of the Bob Knight Era?

The guys also preview the Hoosiers' first Big Ten game of the season against Nebraska, who come off a ridiculous four-overtime game of their own. What does IU have to do to start off Big Ten play with a victory?

Four-star point guard Gabe Cupps committed to Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers on Tuesday evening. Cupps comes out of Centerville High School near Dayton, Ohio and chose the Hoosiers over Ohio State and Stanford.

What will Cupps bring to the table when he steps on the Assembly Hall floor in a couple years? Which players do the guys compare him to in order to get a better feel for his game?

Also, the 2-0 Hoosiers whacked Northern Illinois and now face a critical test against Big East challenger St. John's. What are the key matchups that Indiana needs to win to stay undefeated?

Host's note: IU's men's soccer team plays in the Big Ten title game on Sunday *at* Penn State. Please do not show up at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Sunday, as Nithin mistakenly states.

In the first official game of the Mike Woodson Era, the Hoosiers came out hot, only to hang on by six against Eastern Michigan. Nithin and Matt summarize IU's win in one word, then discuss different aspects of the game that stood out to them. Which players impressed, and which underwhelmed?

The guys also preview Friday's opponent, Northern Illinois, as the KenPom No. 313 Huskies upset Washington in their season opener. NIU has a star player that IU cannot ignore. What else do the Hoosiers have to do to notch a comfortable win?

It's time to rock and roll. With less than a week until the first official game of the Mike Woodson era, the guys give you a comprehensive preview of the 2021-22 IU men's basketball team. What should you expect this season?

Nithin and Matt answer a burning question for each player, offer starting lineup thoughts, and give a win/loss prediction for the Hoosiers this season. Will IU make the NCAA Tournament? If so, how far will they go?

2023 4-star combo guard Jakai Newton, out of Covington, GA, committed to Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers on Friday! Newton is currently 67th in 247Sports' 2023 composite rankings, and chose IU over Georgia and Vanderbilt.

What should Hoosier Nation expect out of its newest addition? Who are some college and NBA players that come to mind when we watch Newton? We also noticed an encouraging development in Woodson's recruiting that we didn't see in previous IUBB head coaches. Also, which assistant has stood out to you?

At the end, some football stuff.

That game was winnable. Indiana had every opportunity to knock off No. 10 Michigan State, but thanks to a putrid offensive performance, the Hoosiers now sit at 2-4. To make matters worse, No. 5 Ohio State visits Bloomington this upcoming weekend.

Where did it all go wrong for this offense? If IU moves on to a new offensive coordinator, what kind of play caller should Tom Allen pursue? From a more short-term perspective, is there any avenue IU can exploit to upset the Buckeyes?

It was the best of times, Micah McFadden got ejected, then it was the worst of times at Memorial Stadium on Saturday as Indiana dropped a 38-24 decision to No. 8 Cincinnati. Matt and Nithin dive into the hottest topics surrounding IUFB at the moment, such as how to change the targeting rule in college football, what's going on with Michael Penix Jr., and one Hoosier in particular that needs to rise up. Is 8-5 a successful year for this IU team, given where expectations were at the start of the season?

Then, the guys dive into a full preview of Indiana's week four contest at the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Who are the key players to watch? What do the Hoosiers have to do to pull off the win? They also give you an IU/WKU prediction and their Big Ten picks of the week.

That was ugly. The most-hyped IUFB season opener in program history resulted in the most underwhelming performances in the Tom Allen era, a 34-6 loss at the hands of the Iowa Hawkeyes. Everything went wrong from the opening kick off at Kinnick Stadium. Michael Penix Jr. struggled all afternoon. What bright spots did Nithin and Matt see in the Hoosiers' first game? What should IU fans expect from this team for the rest of the season?
