On Tuesday, the Big Ten released dates and opponents for all men's basketball games, which means IUBB now has a FULL 2023-24 schedule. What are the tough stretches and soft spots, and which games do we have circled? Also, IUFB dropped a wacky 21-14 game to Louisville on Saturday in Indy. Let's face it. This is not the first time recently where the Hoosiers were poor for a half then played well. Why can't they put 60 minutes together?

On Friday night, Tom Allen and the Hoosiers took care of business against Indiana State, pounding the Sycamores, 41-7. IU scored touchdowns on their first three drives, largely thanks to redshirt freshman QB Tayven Jackson, whose efficient play earned him QB1 status. What are we expecting from IU as they face Louisville in Saturday in a potential turning point game? Also, current Montverde Academy players Liam McNeeley, Derik Queen, and Curtis Givens III visited Bloomington over the weekend. Can Mike Woodson land them for a shape-shifting recruiting class in his tenure?

On Saturday, Tom Allen and the Hoosiers showed some defensive improvement, but the offense left a lot to be desired in a 23-3 loss to Ohio State. What did Nithin and Matt take away from IU's first game? What are we expecting from IU in game two? Remember, Idaho led Indiana 10-0 at halftime last year. How can IU dominate the Sycamore on Friday nigh? The guys also have a couple bold predictions and give you their Big Ten picks of the week.

On Saturday, Tom Allen and the Hoosiers will take on Ryan Day's Ohio State Buckeyes in Bloomington. IU looks to bounce back from a couple of difficult seasons, while OSU will try to wrestle back the Big Ten title from Michigan. What are we expecting from IU in game one? What would we do with Jackson and Sorsby at quarterback? Which players need to step up for the Hoosiers, and what are we paying attention to in this game going into the rest of the season?

With Oregon and Washington joining the Big Ten in the 2024/25 academic year, the league has now expanded to 18 teams. There's no guarantee we stop there. Matt and Nithin provide their thoughts on conference realignment. They don't hold back. Sure, there are some positives, but some frightening negatives as well. Let's face it: the NCAA is losing sight of what makes it special in the first place.

After miserable seasons in 2021 and 2022, Tom Allen has overhauled IUFB's roster going into the upcoming season. Tayven Jackson and Brendan Sorsby will compete for QB1, Andre Carter will lead a new-look defensive line, and Matt Guerrieri takes over play-calling on the defensive side. What does Indiana have to do to play their way into a bowl game and have a successful 2023? Can they learn from programs like Kansas and Vanderbilt, who exceeded expectations last year?

Jalen Hood-Schifino and Trayce Jackson-Davis were selected in the 2023 NBA Draft, resulting in the first Hoosier draft choices since 2019. What does their development tell us about Mike Woodson and the coaching staff? How can IU parlay the picks into future success? Also, Indiana released its non-conference schedule, highlighted by the Empire Classic, Auburn, and Kansas. What stood out to Matt and Nithin about the matchups?

Mackenzie Mgbako is a Hoosier.
On Friday, Mgbako chose IU over Kansas, resulting in a big recruiting win for Mike Woodson and the Indiana men's basketball program. Mgbako once was a Duke signee, but reopened his recruitment in early April. Mgbako is a five-star recruit per 247Sports, coming in as the No. 10 overall recruit in the class.
Indiana has not had an elite wing player since OG Anunoby wore the candy stripes in 2017. What will Mgbako bring to the table in Bloomington? How high is IU's ceiling with him in the lineup?

Transfer portal season keeps rolling on, and Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers still have two spots to fill on the roster. With that said, the guys tell you why IU's two biggest moves of the offseason are yet to come. Jordan Dingle, Mackenzie Mgbako, and Rayj Dennis are on IU's radar, and one of them is reportedly scheduled to visit Bloomington this weekend. What do you need to know?
