Our annual tradition of graphic violence and holiday cheer continues with a deep dive into one of the most popular David Cronenberg films in his arsenal: 1981's SCANNERS.

Anthony and Alix take a deep dive into the early stages as "Telepathy 2000" in the 70s, how the special effects team managed to make a head explode so organically it turned into a meme (spoiler alert: required a shotgun), and the film's rise as a Midnight movie!
