In our Bi-annual look at this legendary series, we cover how a passionate screenwriter built the lore of Haddonfield only to get wrapped up in Hollywood politics. Disagreements are frequent as the group takes a look back at the entire Thorn Trilogy and what it did right, and where it absolutely went wrong. This one has Donald Pleasance, a debuting Paul Rudd, and NO Daniel Harris (we get into it).

The three hungover guests rely on herbal supplements to breakdown how this cult hit from a first time director made a lot of money, annoyed A LOT of critics, and somehow became a deeply explored home invasion flick. Alix also gets to talk about post 9/11 horror, and you know she's been waiting for it!

Once again we go INCREDIBLY NICHE. In this episode a former ~*adult film director*~ gets excommunicated from the Catholic church and he has something to say about it! The director? Alfred Sole. The Movie? Alice, Sweet Alice (A.K.A Communion, A.K.A Holy Terror) from 1976. 

Anthony and Alix also talk a LOT about our own family dynamics (older sibling syndrome is also real) and our relationship with religion (it's as heavy as you're probably picturing). It's heavy, but good. 

We are TERRIFIED of the killer costume in this movie and only 5 star reviews on iTunes will keep the nightmares at bay.

Birthday month concludes with a look at one of darkest anime series/mangas ever produced - and we got special guest James Brizuela to help break it down!

Join the team as they take a deep dive into Berserk, from its roots as an underground manga from a childhood prodigy to a truly dark tale that never received an actual ending - and it's frustrating! The team dives into Anthony's recent vaccination, Alix enters the episode IMMEDIATELY after seeing the shocking ending, and James is doing his best to keep everything together.
