The three discuss sci-fi horror, the 90s, and newscasting then versus now. It's a great look back at some of the great, and not so great things the 90s brought us. The nostalgia is strong with this one.

Space month continues with a new installment in the GAME edition of The Horrorble People's Podcast, and we're going big. This week the team and special guests Alex and James of N4L gaming take a look at the horror inspired, granddaddy of all first person shooters: DOOM (1993)!

We take a look at how a bunch of students at a NASA internship created the first person shooter, and how that formula eventually refined itself into some good old demon slaying with DOOM. We take you through the crazy, metal blaring office shenanigans of iD software in its early days, and how a bold team with a lot of talent made an underground genre in gaming mainstream - and angered A LOT of Christians in the process!

Oh boy, this is a big one! This week the team tackles the third installment in one of our favorite franchise (though it is definitely not our favorite installment) in Wes Craven's SCREAM 3!

In what might be one of our most profound episodes, we take a look at the original idea for this second sequel and how everything was derailed after a historic shooting. We also look at how the film tackles predatory Hollywood figures while being produced by one of them, and the reevaluation of the film because of it. We also talk A LOT about Pedro Pascal for some reason, and there's wine - so plenty of fun with the whole societal reflection!

2021 is here and The Horrorble People's Podcast is BACK from its December break! To kick off the new year, we're bringing you one of our BIGGEST episodes on possibly one of the scariest films of all time, with TWO great creatives behind it! That's right, we're diving deep into Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of Stephen King's THE SHINING from 1980.

We take a look at the influence the Hotel Stanley had on the demon plagued author in the 70s, the rise of Stanley Kubrick through Hollywood, the BRUTAL behind the scenes stories of trying to even make this movie, and why it became so huge after initially being considered a disappointment.

We also talk about Anthony's COVID recovery, Alix's cats make several appearances, and we mentioned Jon Voight twice for some reason. It gets a little funky!

Meemz from the Swatch of Horrors podcast guests this week as the trio discusses this late 90s slasher (?). Anthony and Alix discuss their ARDENT love of Jennifer Tilly and not much else, what else did you expect? Meemz puts up with us, but only barely. Together we all reminisce on technology of the early 2000s (remember Netflix's disc rentals?).
